Here is an example of how you search for articles in Academic Search Complete. It is one of our general databases and has something on almost every subject.
When you select Academic Search Complete from the database list the search page will open in a new tab.
The search results page has a list of articles down the center. Under the search box at the top, there are dropdown options that let you refine your search to a certain type of article or date of publication.
- The icons above the title will tell you if the article was originally published in an Academic Journal, Periodical (Magazine), or Newspaper.
- You can click on the article title to find out more about the article or you can click on "Access now" to get the full text article.
- PDF full text will take you to a scan of the article. Online full text will take you to an HTML file.
