How do I locate newspaper articles from the 1900s regarding the polio epidemic?

The TCC library offers approximately 34 databases for newspapers;  however, articles written in the early 1900s can be a challenge to locate. Luckily,  the Library of Congress and the National Endowment for the Humanities have digitized thousands of newspapers from 1777-1963. See below for details:

This database is searchable by keyword and can be limited by year(s) and even state.

Try  putting your keywords in quotes such as “polio epidemic” or “polio vaccine” etc.
