How do I get a hotspot?

TCC libraries offer a limited number of hotspots for currently enrolled TCC students to checkout for the semester. VBPL cardholders can explore options for devices through Virginia Beach Public Library's Library of Things.
A few things to keep in mind for TCC hotspots:
- Only one hotspot can be checked out to a student at a time.
- Hotspots may be checked out on the first day of the semester and must be returned by the last day of classes. They are not available during intersessions.
- Hotspots are available strictly on a first-come basis. They may not be placed on hold or renewed.
- A valid TCC student ID must be provided at the time of checkout.
- Hotspots must be returned in person to the campus from which they were borrowed.
- All items checked out together must be returned together (3 pieces: Hotspot, charger, laminated quick start guide).
