Changing the Due Date in Alma
There are different ways to change the due date in a patron’s Alma account.
Method #1
- After checking out the item in Alma, you can click on the three dots on each individual item and select Change Due Date from the item menu.
- Select the due date and click on the number (day) of the date to lock in the date. You can also type in the date too.
- After the date selection, click on the Change Due Date button.
- The new due date appears, and the patron will receive an email notifying them of the changed date.
- When you finish the patron’s account, click the Done button.
Method #2
- Select individual items or select all by clicking on the little boxes to the left of the item(s).
- Click on the Change Due Date link.
- Select the due date and click on the number (day) of the date. You can also type in the date too.
- After the date selection, click on the Change Due Date button.
- The new due date appears, and the patron will receive an email notifying them of the changed date.
- When you finish the patron’s account, click the Done button.
