Removing Service Indicators

Answer

1. In Alma, click on Fulfillment then Manage Patron Services. Search the student's EMPLID.

 

2. Check the item in. Click on Fulfillment then Return Items. Scan in the item barcode.

3. Log in to myTCC. Click Students then SIS or SIS then Student Inquiry. Click Main Menu. In the drop-down menu select Campus Community then Service Indicator (Students), and then Manage Service Indicators.

4. In the search box for ID, type in the number then click Search. Click on the matching Empl ID.

5. Identify the service indicator that displays CAMPUS Library Material Cost.

6. Click on ALL code. Verify Student Name, EMPLID, and the barcode of the long overdue item returned. Click Release then OK.

8. Verify that the service indicator has been removed. Click on Return to Search at the bottom of the screen. Check that the service indicator is no longer listed.

9. Inform the circulation supervisor via email so the student's paper files can be updated.

Example email: SIS block removed for [Student name OR EMPLID] due to [payment for item(s) OR temporary removal to allow student to receive financial aid and register for classes.]

Do NOT send student name and EMPLID together in email per TCC privacy policy.
