How to add a patron from another VCCS institution

Answer

  • From the home screen, select “Fulfillment” and “Manage Patron Services.”

  • Check the ‘Find user in other institution’ box
  • Choose user's home institution from dropdown 

  • Scan id, or enter myVCCS username (primary ID), or enter EmplID
  • Click on Find User
  • The User Details will populate automatically.
  • Change User group to Consortium.
  • Confirm that the information provided is correct.
  • Click on Update User
  • Follow the instructions for VIVA Consortium patrons to complete the process.
